The first oil I want to highlight is lavender.
It is considered the Swiss Army Knife of essential oils because it has so many wonderful uses! Lavender is great for springtime ambiance! One of my favorite combos to diffuse is lavender and lemon.
Uses for Lavender
-Diffuse at bedtime to promote restful sleep.
-Diffuse during the day to promote peace and soothe stressful moments.
-Instead of using dryer sheets filled with toxic chemicals, use wool dryer balls. Add lavender to dryer balls to freshen laundry, especially towels and sheets.
-Add lavender to a cotton ball and suck up with the vacuum cleaner to freshen the air while vacuuming.
-One of my favorite linen or room sprays is a mixture of lavender and lime. Purchase a glass, amber spray bottle and add distilled water and the oils, and you have a room spray that will actually help purify the air, not just mask odors!
-Lavender helps soothe summertime skin when mixed with coconut oil or aloe vera gel, and helps other skin irritations like those from the outdoors.
-Add lavender to shampoo and lotion for skin benefits.
-Add a few drops of lavender to Epsom salts for a relaxing nighttime bath.
Lavender is one of the most adulterated of all essential oils. It is important to know what you are getting in your bottle of oil. That’s why Young Living’s Seed to Seal Guarantee is important. It takes 170 pounds of plant material to make one pound of lavender oil. Young Living adds nothing to that pure lavender oil, unlike typical lavender body care products that often contain synthetics.

Young Living also sells lavender bath gel and lotion, a bar soap, foaming hand soap, lavender mint shampoo and conditioner, and even a lavender chap stick. It’s great having personal care products you can trust!
