Each product has a slightly different formulation with clinically studied ingredients to support a growing child’s unique needs. Of the four options, my favorite is Gut Connection® Kids Cognitive Balance™.
Gut Connection® Kids Cognitive Balance™
This product, along with each of the other formulations, contains EpiCor®, a dried yeast fermentate that helps maintain good digestive and immune health. Cognitive Balance™ also contains methylated B’s to support neurotransmitter creation in the brain; choline that is needed to produce acetylcholine, an important neurotransmitter for healthy brain and nervous system function; vitamin D3 for memory and cognitive function as children develop; and Neurofactor™ that increases the level of BDNF (Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor) in the blood to help support brain health.
Who Should Take Gut Connection® Kids Supplements?
Gut Connection® Kids Supplements are chewables and are intended for children ages 4-12. Adults can also take these supplements by following the directions for the 9-12 year old dosage; however, Country Life® has additional products specifically for the needs of adults.
How Do Gut Connection® Kids Supplements Taste?
The chewable Gut Connection® Kids Supplements have a sweet and sour taste. My children are picky when it comes to the taste of their chewables! I stick to supplements that do not contain sugar as a main ingredient, and we have a family favorite vitamin/probiotic combo that is difficult to beat in the taste department. So the taste of Gut Connection® Kids wasn’t a favorite with my children, but overall they still take the supplements! After trying them myself, I think most children will like the sweet and sour flavor.
My daughter really liked the little characters, and I think the animal shapes of the supplements are a selling point with children!
