Hilton® Pensacola Beach Resort Pass for Families

Summertime is undoubtedly the most popular time for a beach vacation. I think most families consider visiting the beach or mountains for summer vacations, and while I love both places for their differing attractions, the beach tugs at my heartstrings any time of year.

Pensacola Beach Vacation

I love the beautiful white sands and emerald waters at Pensacola Beach! A couple years ago, we visited Jacksonville Beach, and I was surprised how different the sand is at the two beaches. Jacksonville Beach sand is packed down, while Pensacola Beach has thick mounds of white sand that squish between your toes! We loved bike riding and jogging at Jacksonville Beach, but Pensacola Beach has a beauty of its own!

Family Vacation at Pensacola Beach with a Hilton Resort Pass

We recently visited Pensacola, Florida, and my family spent several nights at a hotel about 20 minutes from the beach. We arrived at our hotel destination on Saturday evening after eating at Lambert’s in Foley, Alabama, for a late lunch. A beach trip isn’t complete without a stop off at Lambert’s where you can catch a roll larger than a softball!

After settling in to our hotel room, we went bowling and played games at a location near our hotel. Sunday morning, we attended church and did our best to avoid the rain showers at the beach that afternoon! I had my rain jacket on for part of the time, but we still managed to have loads of fun!

The weather was off-and-on with rain showers Monday morning, but I fit in a run, and the kids rode their scooters before we went shopping. We spent the afternoon and early evening at the beach again, and by the time the day was over, the children had their fill of sandy bathing suits and were ready for the pool!

With the escalating prices of the economy, securing a room at a beachfront property during the summer peak season isn’t always possible for families, so I was excited about the resort pass option that some hotels make available for purchase.

A couple years ago, we spent three nights at Hilton® Pensacola Beach and had a blast! The resort has a beautiful pool area with beach access, and this hotel offers the resort pass option. It’s a perfect solution for families who want access to a beachside pool without the astronomical prices of peak season hotel prices.

We spent all day Tuesday “living the life” with our resort pass at Hilton® Pensacola Beach! Most of our time was spent in the outdoor pool, but we took two trips to the beach for walks when we absolutely had to reapply our sunscreen! The beach walks gave us a chance to dry off and let our sunscreen soak in so we didn’t wash it off in the pool.

We left midday to grab wraps for lunch and ate them next to the pool under the shade of the umbrellaed picnic tables. After lunch, we swam until we were exhausted and ready to crash back at our hotel!

Eating a Wrap at Hilton Pensacola Beach Resort

We planned to enjoy two days using our resort passes at Hilton® Pensacola Beach, but unfortunately, we used our passes only one day due to sickness. My children came down with a fever toward the end of our vacation, so we cut our trip short and returned home early. To say we were extremely disappointed to miss out on day two of our resort pass is an understatement, but we are thankful for the time we had and hope to go back in the future! A beach trip is never long enough, especially when it’s cut short by a day-and-a-half!

Securing your resort pass at Hilton® Pensacola Beach is super easy and time efficient when you book online!
